Default DA 150 on Grieves Pipes, Sound test Please

Hey Guys,

I am looking into running a 150 on Grieves pipes for my next 40% project but I am I little worried about sound. The field I fly at has a 95Db sound limit due to a farm house in the area. So before I went ahead and spent a fair amount of money on pipes, I want to make sure they will meet the sound test as I have heard Grieves can be some what loud. So I was wondering if anyone out there who is running this setup could do a quick sound test on it to see how loud it would be.

Thanks,

Neil

Run a 28.5 x 12 3blade.
It will run quiet.

I have two buddies running DA150s on Greves with two blades. I haven't seen a DB test done on them, but I would almost bet that they would work for you. They are pretty quite with that setup. They would be very quite if you take Wayne's advice and run a three blade.
