Well its on its way. I ordered a qq yak 85 incher today. I am getting pretty pumped but am kinda lost on what paint shceme to do on it. I ordered the all white do to cost and i want something different than the rest. I am calling on all you creative people out there to help me out with the scheme. Id like to keep it white base so please base it on that. Beyond that I am fairly open to ideas. Thanks in advance and i look forward to what you guys have to offer. Analog boy, I'm seeing combining your METAL need being satisfied and GOING BIG!! The guys here from the major graphics companies are doing the sweetest wraps in the world!! Do a partial wrap featuring some album (do they still call it that?!) art from your favorite groups! There's been some badass stuff posted! The art work is amazing and you would be the first kid on your block sporting a Slayer/Mega Death blood curdling screamer! The weight is on par with mylar covering. No mess, no paint, no covering irons! Just windex, squeegee, BADASS!! Speed metal meets QQ's Aircraft meets the modeling world. Is there really any other option? NO!!! Run with it bro! Can I have my whoopin' now? PS.. LEGAL DISCLAIMER!! If Lars get's down wind of this you might have to pay royalties to a certain group!!! Balsa-talika!! |

Dude biff i like your idea. And lars is not going to be on my ass cuz metallica. There all a bunch of sell outs in my mind. But anyways. What graphics company would i have to talk to about getting that **** done at a reasonable price. I am glad that my love for metal is being seen in fact im listening to slayer right now. I dont know if ill go that route but i will have to look into it.

I think you need Eddy (Iron Maiden Mascot) on the rudder, Two claws ripping open the wings exposing a metal frame. You know metal I beams with rivits. And for the fuse a few tears showing off a heart and veins. Just a thought.B

well i got a quote on a wrap and it was 300+ bucks. I dont know if thats everywhere or just where i emailed. I think im am going to do the shulman scheme as shown below. I have done it on a G3 yak 54 and it looks good even tho it is made for a yak 55. If anyone has any ideas i am still very open at the moment. I would love to do the wrap but am a little broke after buying the airframe.
