Sounds like that guys DA-100 is down on power if it won't spoll up a 27X10 PT, hell I run a 28X10 Mejzilk on my DA-100 and it does it all.

I run DA-100's on both my comp-arf's 300sx and 330L, both run the mejzlik 28X10, and I have no problems soo far, but my exp. is not a long one with giant planes, tried a bolly 26X10 on the 330L(all 2.6 m btw) thought I was going to over run the engine on rpm's so I went bigger on prop size.
doesn't altittude, humidity also affect these things? less air less bit? sorry both on cf

I get mine from DA Aus, but I'm sure DA U.S. can get 'em

26x10 would definately be too small for the DA100 pulling a 2.6 Extra. I used to use a 26x10 on my 3W75. I beleive Comp-ARF recomend the 2.6 Extra's to run a DA100 with a 28x10 prop.

Each to their own, but I've found for my style of flying the 27x10TH gives me little more RPM without sacrificing too much on down line braking which is a MUST when flying IMAC. It also gives me a little more ground clearence which unfortunately is something the 2.6 Extra 330 & 300 don't have much of once the tail lifts up on take off. I ended up using 5.5" Dubro wheels on my 2.6 just to increase the clearence a little more too.

I'll tell you in a week or so..... I tested all the Vesses at a fly-in some months ago. I broke down and bought the 27A yesterday and it should be here in about a week.
