Default Extreme Flight extra 300 E-powered.

I just got a new extra 300 from extreme flight. I'm going to be using the extreme flight torque motor, hitec HS 65 on the rudder and elevator. Between the eflite and Futaba s3108 servos, which one do you recomend for ailerons? Also what size prop is best for 3D?
thanx

The Futabas would probably be best. And I believe a 12x6 (E not SF I think) is recommended.

Tony - good choice on the 65's for rud/ele and the 3108's for ailerons are better than the eflights. The Torque motor with a APC 12-6 E will draw around 30-32 amps using a TP 2100 prolite battery.

A 13 x 6.5 E will get you over 400 watts but you better have a battery that will handle 40+ amps or be very careful with the throttle if you don't

You'll love it. Im flying mine with HS-65s all the way around and with the torque motor setup. With a TP2100 and a 12x6 APC-E prop, performance is really good, and thats only a 10-12c capable pack. I will be trying out a new Apogee 2500, 20C/50amp discharge pack tommorow. It should really have some power with that one!

Tony, I am using a 12 X 6 APC Electric prop on mine and it is good. It can take a 13 X 6 but I just like the 12 better. Be sure to get some of the new Thunder Power Extreme 3 cell 2100's.
