Ok... So I found a gift certificate to Hobbytown USA that I completely forgot about. So I went there and they had Nada, zero zilch that I really wanted. No stuff I could use for any giant scale planes.. nothing. So I'm eyeballing around.. and come across this MINI ULTRA STICK Plug and Play... Hmmmmm.... I'm sick of building right now.... I want something to take to the park at the end of the street... hmmmmmm... I have a spektum radio and rec doing nothing.... well its settled... done.. its coming home with me. I built the thing in 5 minutes last night, set up the radio in 8 more and if it was day light I could have been flying in 15 min. (with a battery charged.) The PNP comes with a brushless 450 out runner and a 25 amp esc... 9oz servos and BAM add your receiver and batteries and your air born... I snuck off down the street about 45 min ago.. and got in 2 15 min flighs... THIS THING ROCKS! Flies true as can be... and I think with a little CG adjustment could 3D half way decently. This is my favorite SMALL field plane I own at this point (my EF extra ROCKS, but still needs a pretty big Field). Both flights took place in a football field with a baseball diamond adjoin it... plenty of room and seriously MADE ME SMILE.. I can't believe a Plug N Play plane didn't suck.... it was actually almost perfect... WAY better then I expected.. and JUST the fix when I can't get away to the field to fly my gassers!!! If your tired of building and want instant fun... $189.99 and your in the air!!!

This plane was all new for me so the hovering took place at about 30' but I got it to hang on its prop for around 35 sec... (I suck though, so you guys could probably hover it for a pack or two..) Seriously.. still smiling!

I flew one of those a couple of weeks ago (ARF version with an E-Flight 450). I was really digging it. It is an awesome little plane and that is a heck of a deal. What did you use for batteries? Brian |

I used TP 3 cell 2100mah. Had them pretty far back on the tray. Balanced out right at 2.5" from the leading edge. May try to get it at 3" and try some 3D ![]() I love this little plane! ![]() Lunch's may never be the same at work!!!!

I just got one of those last night as well, I never have really built before so I went for the PNP instead of the ARF. Finally got the thing together after spending hours trying to solder a deans connector on instead of the EC3 connector (I really suck at soldering!!!) Question though.... 1.) Where did you route your antenna 2.) Do I really need to balance the propeller ( dont have a balancer) 3.) Whats it likein the wind 4.) Couldnt find the right size nylon bolts for the gear... any suggestions??? Sorry for all the questions at once... would greatly appreciate any input anyone has.... |

Well took her out this morning and made the maiden flight. Plane flies great!!! Had about a 10-15mph wind blowing and didn't seem to really effect the plane at all. Had to land land her in a tail on cross wind.... did surprisingly well though. My only beef with the plane is the tail skid, every landing was very smooth however when I went to change batt packs I noticed the tail skid was missing and had scarred up the monokote. Not sure what I should replace it with.... hope you all might have some suggestions...... Heffas |

Hey glad you liked it. Mine was my lunch time buddy for a long time. But MAD MAX mauled her at the Dogs show last year. The radio was a bit "touchy".. I GUESS.

It has been one of my best flying planes in the wind. It just tracks so nice and does not get pushed around. It also does the sweetest spot on landings. Good plane to fly when there not a lot of time to fly!
