I love my 42" Slick, it 3Ds great and is the perfect size to just take out and fly in the yard. I also found it handles 15mph winds pretty well.

I put floats and lights on my parkzone Extra! I'll get a video of her flying at night soon

ill be headin out to Ohio tomorrow at 7 a.m. Should get there around 11:30 i cant wait! Somehow we stuffed 4 planes into our car: 71" slick (yes thats a slick under all those blankets and the extra ) ParkZone Extra 300, 48" epp yak 54 and a little mini supercub.

I took the floats from my HobbyZone SuperCub and put them on my Extra. This mod only took about 30 minutes and works poifectly!

My new neighbors gave me this plane that they found while cleaning out their old house. It has an 8 ft. wing span, weighs at least 15 lbs. and is about 45 years old. Has anyone ever heard of this plane? (sorry about the bad pictures )

Decided to take all my planes out for a spin today. Very calm winds and a new battery, so now instead of my SuperCub and Extra sharing, they can have their own and I can bring both planes.

I decided to re-redo my HZ supercub's ailerons. my old ones were really crappy. I also bought new floats, my old ones were cracked up and covered in glue and tape. With these floats i will not be putting a rudder in. On the old ones the rudder (and tape and glue) added about 1/2 a pound to the SuperCub. Here are some before pix.

Now not only does my Super Cub have floats and ailerons, now she also has lights! Man these little guys are bright!

I'm finished with the airframe of my ultra micro ParkZone Extra 300. She's 1/3 scale of the pkz extra. I put the 3DHS Slick's color scheme on her, I used permanent marker that actually worked pretty well. The silver streak and the white star on the wings are colored duct tape. Now I'm working on putting the electronics in her, I stole them from my old pkz UM mustang p-51. The receiver is a kinda broken... I was trying to make this project as cheap as possible but I guess with RC that kinda impossible :P Now I need to go to the local hobbyshop and grab a new receiver and another micro servo for the duel ailerons (the micro p-51 used one servo but I need two). Hope to get her finished soon...
