Ryans Rebel Thanks for all the comments guys. We enjoyed everyone coming down for a great weekend. Food, flying, food, AWESOME weather, food, a raffle, food, cool trophies, and more food. A lot of great flying all weekend. It was great watching the under-class men improving throughout the weekend. Pilot count was down where the more experienced could spend some time and give pointers to those eager to learn.

Thanks again to all of out local club members who helped with registration, concessions, scribing, and anything else we needed done. All proceeds go to help keep up our field, which is great by the way. Without it, we could not hold great events such as this one.

A special thanks to Smart-Fly for generously donating prizes and gift certificates. We managed to give each basic & sportsman pilot a Smart-Fly item. THANKS!

We will do it again next year.

I used my Cane Knife trophy from last year on Allan's build. It came in quite handy to square things up when things looked a bit off.

Congrats to all of you who attended. It killed me not being there.

mciaglia Here are some pictures.

Great Crawfish

That scoring card was the only time Damon was in first. Just to let everyone know Cody Lee won sprtsman flying no less than 3 different aircraft during the competition....oh yeah and he used Damons plane to win!!!

The coolest trophies. I already moved the wedding picture off the fireplace mantle and put my cane knife up there.

The Dirt Doctor Yes, Mark hit the nail on the head! Ryan and Phil (and their wives) put on a great feed! I always enjoy their hospitality! Even though I only flew one time, I had a ball at the contest. Ryan even dialed in my plane on Sat evening after the competition flying was finished. Thanks Ryan. So you guys in Sportsman - watch out (humm, judges better watch their 6 too) 'cause I'll be practiced and ready by the time Crosby rolls around!!!

mciaglia Guys,

Had a great weekend. The whole 4 hour drive back to Houston was spent recaping how good of a time this was. It was great meeting so many awesome fliers and making sommany new friends. Hats off to Phil and his wife for generously opening their house to all the pilots and putting on one HELL of a great dinner!!! Can't wait until next year!!! Thanks to Ryan for all the advice even when it was presented like I had no business flying!!

"You all fly like ***** and I'll tell you all why!!!!"

Well I listened and managed to get a second place for the first IMAC.

Thanks so much Phil for calling and telling me which way to keep the nose pointed!

Have some classic pictures and will post them soon!

The Dirt Doctor Ryan, please post your home GPS (address) just in case we miss you at the field! I would hate to miss out on the hamburgers and camaradrie!! You can send me a private message if you don't want to post your address here.

I'm packed up and ready to go. I will pick up Todd in the AM and motor on down.
