I found that with my boys it was better to go the electic route. They are intimidated by the noise of a glow engine. The biggest advantage of the electic is that when the urge hits them we can be at the local HS in 5 mins. remember kids have short attention spans and if it takes 1 to 1 1/2 hour of loading, driving and setting up thier minds may have moved on to something else.
