The difference between classes is not only the complexity of the basic shapes of the maneuvers, and the variations of those shapes, but the types, number, and complexity of the roll elements included on those shapes increases.
For example:
Basic may have a loop in the sequence
Sportsman may have a loop with a roll in it
Intermediate maybe a loop with 2 point roll integrated
Advanced may have an outside loop with a half roll, snap combo in it
Unlimited's loop has even more snaps or roll elements

You start to see negative snaps and maneuvers in Intermediate, and then the proceeding classes.
