Thanks Reza. I guess I assumed that was you calling for QQ. I second your other comments. Pattern and sequences may not bring in the spectators, but that is 'real' flying, and real pressure.
QQ seems to be pretty quiet person, but I bet he burns pretty hot when he gets the bit in his teeth. The other young competitors deserved his kudos. I was impressed by how the top invitiational competitors shared their time and knowledge with the other competitors in the sportsman and other classes. I know he's a business competitor of QQs, but I was impressed with the way Chip Hyde mentored the young sportsman winner, Ryan Archer.
The FG staff also deserved your and QQs compliments. The pictures and videos make it look like it's all fun, but it's hard work.
Next time I'll work up the courage to say hello. If you could, let us know what QQs 2007 competition schedule will be. It's worth the travel time to see him fly.
