Re: 35% AM Yak set-up
Shawn here are some pics of my second 35% bird. I am running a 106 for power. I am running the fromeco batterys all the way around. I am running hitec 5955's on my ailerons, and elevators. I don't think that one servo per aileron is going to cut it that thing is freakin huge. I run 1/4 scale hitec 5745mg's on my rudder. I had some laying around plus the plane is already setup for two 1/4 scale servos. Again one 5955 here I do not think will be quite enough. I ran a single on my first yak for the first flight and found it to be not quite what I wanted, but with two the rudder is just perfect. I run a smart fly power expander, and turbo regulator. I did have mpi miracle switches on the first bird, but for a few extra bucks this is alot better. My tank is a 50oz tank (I like to fly for long periods of time) and it is mounted in the tunnel of the plane. I also have a paulys rc tach-temp mounted in my canopy. You will love the poop out of this bird. I had a 35% earlier this year lost it due to servo lock out, and have since bought a 30% and two more 35%. There are a couple of others at our field as well. Not a single one of us have found a better flying plane! Enjoy it and be sure to post pics!
