Default Re: 35% AM Yak set-up

i just test flew mine.

da100, 5955's x2 on the rudder, 5955 on each elevator and two 5945's on each aileron. i went with two 6 volt 3600mah low impedence nimh's with 2 rx's. the switches are the deans ultra to the switch and 2 standard connectors to each rx.
the servos get good power.

this aircraft is really good. maiden flight was uneventful and on the second flight i did a flew rolling harriers and torque rolls. it is such a user friendly plane and garret if you had anything to do with the design of the plane, you deserve a keg of beer.

the build is very straight forward and all the linkages are good quality. i love the covering and it is definately not chinakote. looks real nice.

i am not totally convinced the da100 is the correct choice of engine for the yak but it seems to work "ok" so it'll stay there for the time being. the reason i say this is, i had the da100 in an extreme composite 2.6 edge and it was really powerful. the yak is a little porky,,,draggy i mean and the da is not yanking it around the way i like.
