Here is my take....

is the Edge THE BEST Imac plane? maybe not
Will mortals like us really notice the difference? Probably not

The Edge stalls a bit differently then others.
But if you are starting out, I would assume that you are flying basic or sportsman...
the key (and the learning part so you can advance later) in these classes is smooth, straight lines.... (which is harder than it sounds)

While the manuevers may not be too complex, they are key learning blocks for moving up...

Now... if you are going to the Invitational class at the Shootout, you might not choose the Edge....

But for now, I think it would be just fine
