The best plane for each is a hard call. A lot depends on how large of a plane you are looking for, and your budget. There are many manufacturers that have planes that are very capable of both IMAC and 3D flight, it all depends on how you set them up.

I'm going to move your thread into the "Airframes and Kits" forum to give you some more exposure, you should get a lot more feedback from that venue.
