Don't know why it matters if the baffle is polyester, epoxy, cf or anything else since it isn't incorporated into the cowl but just epoxied onto the front. I have done balsa baffles on my custom built Edge 540, but a full fairing as opposed to a deflector just makes more sense and looks way more cool
