What's the advantage of using a two part catalist type primer over the lacquer type auto primer at Walmart for $2.98 a can ?

And do you use a glove when applying the fine line tape?
The K36 primer is a primer surfacer and also has some flex adjents in it. I guess to answer your question I know for a fact that the K36 sticks really good to the fiberglass and it also remains somewhat flexiable which keeps it from cracking from expanding and contracting and also vibration. Maybe the $2.98 primer would work, but I can't take that risk on a costumers plane. And also Yes I wear the gloves anytime I am touching the parts.
