Randy, definetly use a seperate power source, dont feed it off of your general RX power supply. You can use the 2cell pack and you will still have plenty of power, and the centering issue will be eliminated/minimal because you wont generate as much heat in the servo. I would still recommend venting the case though as it definetly helps if you go with a 3-cell.
