I have been flying for a few years and am a member of a pretty good sized field here in sunny So. Cal. I am starting to get the itch (and the tax return
) to get a large scale plane. I have a 2001 Toyota Tacoma to carry it in, so something in the 25-30% scale area is about all I can handle. I have had my eye on the Hangar 9 Extra 260 with an Evolution 45 GX2,
BUT, I am open to other suggestions. I am going to be a first time gasser with this plane, but I have some experience with glow. I am only flying electrics right now, so this is a little bit of a departure from my norm.
I like the looks of the Extra's mostly, but I really like the flying qualities of the Extreme Flight Yak 54 (25 size) and SebArt Sukhoi 29 (30 size) that I currently have.
Like I said, any other suggestions are welcome.
