Chris the planes looks very nice, I only have one suggestion. Open up the intake holes on the cowl a bit more, don't want that nice new engine to overheat. I still think that carbon ultracote is awesome. Glad to see theres finally no more snow on the ground by you. Good luck with it.

P.S. I know you said it but I would strongly suggest starting in a lower class of IMAC for at least one contest. just so you dont get taken off guard with the unknowns. |

Thanks Kevin.
The intakes are bigger than they look in the pics... the same volume as the ones on the Cap. That new Da temps in the 140's.
This is a proven DA... no new engine for the Panzl - something I know is working.
I am going through DA's unknowns catalog and flying as many as I can. I may score badly and frustrate a few judges but I'm okay with that. I certainly need practice but I just find flying the intermediate a lot more fun and interesting since you get in some more "unnatural feeling" orientations.
I'll fly basic, sportsman and int at our upcoming boot camp. I'll maybe change my mind after I get that feedback
