Yep, the scenery was awesome. They have filmed several famous movies in Monument Valley such as Thelma and Louise, Back to Future III, Forrest Gump (when he is running) etc. We were actually at higher elevation then most of the course so we were pretty much eye level with the planes. The pilons they fly between are only 60' feet high. Through the blue ring pilons they must be level, through the red ones they have to be in a knife edge or points were deducted. It is going to be in San Diego in september. I might have to go see that one too!
