Inspecting a new model is one thing, but something that serious is not something I would expect you to have to look for and discover. If there really was no adhesive in that area that is a pretty serious manufacturing flaw.
When I receive a new model I give it a good looking over for shipping damage and stuff that might have come loose from transit or handling. Checking the spar bond is not on the checklist...

OK, I had a wing come apart and it appears that there was no glue along that part of the spar. My rep says I shoud have inspected it. I do not think you can even see that part of the wing especially thru the whole where the ganged servos go.
I am not trying to start an issue but I am confused as to the level of inspection everyone goes to prior to flyng. |
