Roger, lighter is almost always better - IMO, at least. Nothing wrong with 29 pounds at or near sea level, and the vids of this plane at the Nall show some impressive pull-out at that weight. Still, I am shooting for under 28 pounds with tuned pipes on this one, and I see no reason I won't be able to do it. |

I agree with lighter is better.
The Yak I'm building is a 35% but I beleive it is slightly bigger then this one and it will come out at near 30lbs, lots of wing area, and I have installed a EVO 150 so I don't have to worry about tuned pipes and peaking out the engine performance,
Not being a Hucker, by choice and also I'm not good enough
so it should be OK
