Extra VS Yak for first time giant scale 3Der
I'm kind of new to this giant scale stuff. I consider myself a decent 3D pilot. Although most of my experience is with electrics. Not those styro things but larger balsa stuff. I have been flying an SD 30% yak for a while now and like it very much. I recently decided to get something bigger so I bought a comp arf 2.6 330l. This airplane flys very good however it dosn't seem to fly all that slowly even with a neutral CG. Throttle off downlines seem very fast as well, This surprised me as most people discribe this airplane as feeling very "draggy" or "floaty" compaired to the Comp arf 260. I bought a QQ 102 the other day and love it. It will fly very slow straight down and leval and is extremely stable in high alfa. My question is, If a bought a different brand of Extra, Like say a SD, Aeroworks or H9 would it have a similar feel to my Comp arf? I'm not bagging on the Comp extra it flys a very straight line and I'm sure is better for precision than my Yak. However the slower flying airplanes are better for me at my leval and comfort.
