Default Re: Motor Choice for 34% CA Pitts Stinker??

I believe it's about 77" wingspan with an all up weight of 21-23lbs. I was leaning towards a twin at first , but i might end up going with a single instead. I have a BME 115 that's already spoken for in my 35% WH Sukhoi , and am going to pick up a DA 85 for the 33% Dietrich 260 that's coming out ( already made my deposit on that bad boy.) And now.....just have to figure out what to put into this CA Pitts. I think i may have a 3W-80cs motor i can get from my room mate , as i think he's moving up to the 37-38% airframes this next summer , and his 33% yak is going to get torn down. I don't know if that motor will fit right , or it'll be overkill on the pitts. I do know that the 3W 75 is the same size.......so i would rather just slap on the 3W-80 if that's the case.
