I have a JTEC 300 and am pleased with my minimal time on it. I can tell you that the JTEC will be probably 2-3 lbs heavier than the CA, but the JTEC is a larger plane....125" vs 119"...mine definitely does not feel heavy. I haven't gotten a chance to weigh it but it should be about 40 lbs....my buddy had a CA and I think it was around 37 lbs. |

I won't be holding my breath for the PP Extra. It's been listed as "coming soon" for a long while now so I'll cross that one off my list
I'd have to agree with you on the weight, 37-38 seems to be the norm for the CA's. Without a doubt either plane would serve me well and I know I would be happy with either of them. Did you build your Jtec or did you go with the ARF? If you built it, did you like how it went together? Any issues?
