Fist off I would like to add that I have had 50 great flights on my XPS.The 40% J-tec recovered from lockout just before smashing through the roof of a house.I got it landed smoothly.I parked it and ran the motor up (DA 150). It was missing fire sporadicly and then resumed running good.I then taped on the ignition and the motor went nuts misfiring real bad again.I sent the ignition in to DA and they found it had a bad coil.The XPS was sent in to find out the coaxial cable in the module was defective. This could explain why I had lock out when the coil in the ignition went out.Even if the module was working properly I still don't think it would withstand the racket that the bad ignition was throwing at it.By the way DA sent me a new ignition for free even though the old one was 4 years old. Thank you DA!
Just keep in mind that XPS is NOT immune to interference.
