I would appreciate a clear explanation of the process. As far as I understand, you charge strings of 3 cells in parallel. Each string of 3 is charged as a string, with balancing tabs between the cells, so you should balance too !? How do you balance, in a shunt resistance or by moving electrons from one shell to the other ?
I charge my 6-cells packs under 24V thru a simple .5 ohms resistance, but balancing is an issue: you have to balance a123 cells.
More, I work presently with 12s2p (4 coupled packs), that are presently charged in CC-CV under 48V, 20A.
What is your suggestion ?
