I wouldn't use CA.
CA gets very hot when it activates and can distort the cowl or even burn through fiberglass.
Get the Hysol and the gun (trust me, if you ever build or rebuild you will want this glue).
If you don't want to use that you can use some 45min epoxy with microballoons. Then you can put some fiberglass cloth on the inside to keep it nice and strong.
For attaching to the fuse. My planes I simply drilled through the ring and matched that hole to the fuse and drilled through that. Put a blindnut in the fuse or in the ring and screw it together. |
