I 100% agree with 1bw. A built-to-scale 330 (or actually 300L) is a low wing aircraft and the 260 and 300 are mid-wing aircraft. Typically, mid-winged aircraft fly more neutral. The only real reason The Extra went from a mid wing to a low wing was for pilot visibility, and it was easier to build a lighter, stronger wing.
With the way designers tweak R/C planes, a 300L can be made to fly better than a 260 or 300...
So the question you need to be asking is who makes a well-designed radio control version of the 300L or 260/300. The size of aircraft you are looking for will also be important. |
