VPG,
50cc class is a perfect place to jump into the gas world. The cost of materials, size for transporting and the intimidation factor all are doable when moving up from glow. There are a multitude of choices of plans to choose from in this class, the Yak is a favored one by many. Of those, in my opinion, the Carden design is the best design when it comes to strength and style over any other kits or ARF's. Also, an ARF will get you in the air much quicker than a build up unless that's not important and you like to build. I believe this new Hanger9/Carden ARF is worth waiting for no matter how long it takes to get here. Find something cheep and easy to fly until it gets here...!!!!
