I would mix the throttle on the transmitter to give you a low ATV (about 1/3rd throttle) with the flick of a switch. Since ground tests don't mean anything, you might as well demonstrate a very low dB on the ground. They'll never know, and since their test is meaningless, I wouldn't lose a minute's sleep over it.
