You guys are looking at this problem the wrong way. They way to correct this db test problem is to become an active leader in your club. This is how you can make sure you have a voice in how things are done at your field.

Our club was going to have a 100db test at the AMA 10 foot mark. There is no 100-150 engine that produces any power that will meet this test. But the fact that I am on the BOD I was able to change the test. Since I am an active board member I was able to force them to listen to me.

That being said you have to make an effort to be quiet. I like the guys that are running 2 blade wood and think they are quiet. Or a quiet muffler setup and a mejzlik 30-12 but then they fly full throttle ripping the prop across the sky.

Now we have 3 spots on the board and we are getting other BOD members on our side.
