Grits! Oh YEAH!! Boiled peanuts? My Dad is from Statesboro, Ga....... I think I've had some of those a few bazillion times! Even us Texas folks know a delicacy when we hear one!! Grated carrots w/ raisens sprinkled with sugar? Yup. Sliced tomato with mayo sandwiches? (Gotta eat those out in the garden!) Salt your watermelon? Pass the shaker! Iron Sandwiches? (Learned to eat those at Texas A&M.......Two slices of bread, light coating of Miracle Whip on both pieces, slice of American cheese, put 'em together and wrap in tin foil,Set your household iron on "high" and set down on top of wrapped sandwich, turn over after three minutes and place iron back on other side for another minute...... Bon Appetite, ya'll!! (Don't forget a Jalapeņo or two!)
