The Carb should be bolted thru a RED carb-block on the New version.
The Carb is mounted to part of the aluminum body on the OLD version. ( 6 oz. savings) |

Yup easiest way to tell. New has the red carb block, and the old one is mounted to the aluminum body on the old DA.
