Default Re: Sd yak or Extra???

I have been flying a SDyak 35%,, I have been flying it in IMAC for this year, but the yak tends to hunt for a line if you understand what I mean, it is almost like it doesn't cut through the air like a Extra,, the SD yak is one of the most forgiving 3d planes I have ever flown and I intend to fly it for 3d from now one, but I am going this week to pic up a Carden 330 40% extra,, , for IMAC, I am in the sportsman class now and the YAk just wont compete,, not the SD anyhow with the thick airfoiled wing, which is great for lift for 3d , but sucks for tracking in IMAC<, , and as for the downline braking that is a myth in my opinion, it is all relative ,, , at the last IMAC I went to,, there were about 14 people in the Advanced and Unlimited class, and 2 of the guys were flying Yaks, and the rest Extra 260's or 330's and the yaks didn't place, I know it could be pilot error, but just looking at the yaks tracking during the competition they just didn't look like they were on rails like the extras,, anyway I am getting a good deal on this Carden I am buying, do I would definitly going to get the SD extra 260 40%,,, anyway just my opinions,, hope they help
