A friend of mine has purchased this airframe already built, partially covered but not hinged. He's concerned about the lack of aileron throw. As built, the ailerons will go about 30 degrees each way. If we put some gap in the hinge line we can get a little more. Personally, I think this will be enough throw for both IMAC and 3d. But he's worried he'll not have enough for 3d flying.

Who's flying this plane and how much throw are you using on 3d rates? If I have to, I can pull the covering off the ailerons or the wing or both, sharpen the bevels, and re-cover.
