Not on my servos. They all came set to a notch higher than the tightest deadband. BIG difference in precision between the two. |

Ah. Well, as Joe pointed out, that could be to reduce excessive movement, which could possibly lead to fighting in a ganged situation.
Basically, what I meant was that without ganged servos, you can get away without the programmer. If you gang them, then it's extremely helpful.
