I've had similar experience with this plane, DL-fiddy, stock muff, etc.... It was my Basic IMAC plane and it lasted 2 comps... The gear plate was repaired when I bought mine and it flew in for landings not float like my Carden Yak (H9) did. The squares are low for the 81" wingspan and unless you can get this plane to 12 lbs an OS 160 ain't slicing that bread, maybe precision, but it wouldn't 3D that thing. That 43 wouldn't be worth putting in there either... Sorry to be so harsh, but I was GIVEN one two weeks ago and it sits and it will sit until the day I give it away...

BUT...... It would be a great fist Giant for a n00b...

My opinion, take it for what it is worth.
