Default Re: CRRC Pro GF26I

It seem that everyone is using regulators with 6v packs.
I actually ran a 6v unregulated on my stock auto advanced CRRC ignition.
My second 26cc, I ran a 4.8v 2500mah battery and had no issues, but the 1st one needed the 6v pack.
It just seems that issues come up when a battery starts to get around 4.8V-4.9v.
A 6V battery on a regulator can stay above 5.2 - 5.5 volts for a long time.
A 4.8v pack starts draining from the 5.2v - 5.5v as soon as it is turned on.
I know I had to keep mine above 5v to run cleanly.
You could tell when it was low on voltage, it would become hard starting and pick-up a miss in higher rpm's.
