Default Exhaust/Belly covering

Now that I've lost belly covering twice, I'm wondering if I have a unique situation or just cant think of the obvious solution.
Plane is an SD 260 35% with a ZDZ 100 on JMB cannisters. I have a well baffled engine and run all the cowl air out right behind the LG, which is where the cannisters end.
At first when I lost the stock covering I thought I had finally had gotten the motor/exhaust hot enough to soften the Ultracote glue and have it pull lose on the forward edge of the rear of the exit hole.
Now that I replaced the dark blue covering with white, I see that actual exhaust is hitting the covering edge in question which now that I think of it is most likely from either from hovering or high alpha flying.
So the question is how to secure the covering, protect it or in general, solve the problem
