Want to jump up to a PAU edge 36%
Hey guys,
My first post here and have just been toying around in my mind with jumping up to a 100cc gas plane. Ive been through three planes and quite frankly am sick of the small stuff. My vision isnt bad but they are hard to see and get knocked around by the wind. Ive been flying since april or may of this year. Went through the nexstar, GP cosmic wind minnow, and my current sundowner 50. Now I lost the minnow by flying near dusk and losing orientation but have a new one waiting with a YS110. I loved the way the minnow flew But I do not want to buy any more small planes. And the sundowner is ho-hum for me. Good news is so far no dumb thumb wrecks. Now I know I should do a 50cc first but they even appear too small for me. I want something big I can be comfortable with. Oh and I hate "building" of any kind. So thats why the PAU edge stands out to me. Not to mention the fact its a nice looking plane.
Anyway I dont really know what to buy to finish a plane of this type. I have a JR X9303 and an extra R921 or whatever the 9ch rx is. And about all I really know I need to buy is the airframe and the DA100. What else is there?
Any comments on my choice? I dont claim to be a super newb to flying but I know my limits. And with a plane of this type Im sure you could make it very tame on low rates until the skills progress.
