Lonnie I'm not sure of your investment potential here, Like bob said it will cost you quite a bit of money and ALOT of time, you will have to completely strip it down to nothing and start cutting and sanding,so if you really like/want THIS very airplane , then go for it all the way.
Look it over real good to see if the previous owner added lead to it for CG, then like I told you at the field, go through all of the servo linkage setup, and make sure the servos are centered, maybe use smaller/lighter batteries. I bet we can make that thing fly "OK" with out all of the work, if you want to try it.
