Re: electronic kill switch, yes or no
With my first gasser I just killed it with the throttle trim. Now that I have a bigger gasser I went to using the Smart Fly FO kill switch. I feel very comfortable being able to kill the engine INSTANTLY. With the trim it would take longer to get it to die. Those two or three seconds might make the difference between someone getting hurt or not. Plus, what happens if your throttle servo goes out? what do you do then?
