Re: Smart Fly Optical Kill Switch
I started my CAP 232 for it's first flight, all was working well then the exhaust fell off [DUH], this meant the engine revs were increased and my flight instructor landed her after killing the engine with a SMART FLY optic kill I had fitted.
In addition my servo throttle failed 1/3 open when started on the ground and the kill switch was a very simple and safe solution to this issue.
Lesson learnt, NEVER fly a gasser without a kill switch as it's just dangerous.....
