Thanx from some who does not want to make the wrong decision.
Wild Hare's 41% Extra 300 is finally a reality. 121" span is in the 37-38 pound range it has been tested thoroughly and flies great on DA-150, 3w150, 3w 157, and even on a Evolution 116 twin.

The plane has several unique features.

There are two wing tube sockets to accomodate either a very light engine or a heavy one.

The professional version comes with two rudders (one scale, one oversize) and two sets of stabs/elevators. Ones set is for 3d and has huge counterbalances, the other set is for precision and fits the scale rules at contests like the Masters. The pro version (available in the flame scheme or the standard scheme) also incudes a pilot figure and instrument panels.

All surfaces are "pocket hinged" with a CF rod. Throws and drag are symetrical meaning much less trimming and more consistent trim throughout the flight envelope.

The cowl mounts with a cowl ring so no fasteners are visible. It's very easy to assemble and is just a really nice plane.

It's priced right also. The basic ARF which includes two rudders, CF wing and stab tubes, tailwheel, pre-hinged surfaces, and tinted canopy is priced at $1,295. The pro version is $1,550.
