I just read the thread right after I commented on the new owners Dalton for sale in the Swap Shop. I told him it was OK to fly some other brand plane for "research" purposes.
Glad to see AeroTech is back.  |

Well, its my be a stretch but stretching is how good things happen. I personally would have build a kit much sooner if I could have avoided painting of the fiberglass parts. The covering would be a great bonus .
I know they do something with those ARF's to get those consistent and frankly awesome covering jobs. I don't know what it is but I suspect they cut all the fiddly bits with a laser. If you have CAD files its pretty trivial to determine the shape and size of the covering for, say, the turtle deck. If you don't it takes years of experience to get right.
Anything that make the experience of building a kit smooth and trouble free will expand the market for kits and thus your revenue stream.
Kits need to step it up for the hobby. Kits ARE the hobby. Go Aerotech!
