And the tiny, 1/4" aluminum dowls into holes in cheap chinese plywood to hold down the front of the hatch just makes no sense to me. I start to notice play there after 15-20 flights. Why they didn't choose to use larger diameter hardwood dowling, which has a closer hardness/density to the plywood instead of the aluminum is beyond me. But it is a simple mod to do and I did it on my 42%er and it has been solid since - my 100cc 260 is in bad need of this mod now. |

It looks like they're using ceramic to inhibit this from happening on their new 50cc Extra 300 and Edge 540 planes.
