On my composite plane I just use clear packing tape. Have had it on for a year and a half and thats with using smoke and theres no hint of it peeling up yet. It's not very thick and I cut it so that it's not much bigger than the wing. It protects really nice and is really hard to see that it's on the plane unless your looking for it. |

I use two layers of packing tape on my aircraft. After four years it is still working great
