Many guys will say JR 8711's, many will say Hitec and many will swear by Futaba....it is really up to you. Best to ask what guys have in their 40% planes, or attend a large scale event and ask the pilots!.

I am in the process of completeing a 40% Yak 54 and I plan to use 8711HV's all around, overkill on some parts of the plane, perhaps, however I have a good friend of mine that has been using them for a while now and has had no issues and I trust his judgement moreso than anybody elses. I have used 8711's in the past and have never had an issue.

So the choice is yours!
I've got you point, but I don't have any wish of making a fight here, most because I'm not asking for the better, but just which one would be exaclty the members' personal choice.
