Why use long arms? You start to lose torque after an inch. All servos are rated at 1 inch arms. |

The best way to minimize slop, and keep forces low on the hinge and pushrod and the servo is with a long servo arm AND a long Control horn on the flipper....
Basically, 3D guys go for about 45 degrees of deflection... using a 2'ish inch servo arm and a 2'ish inch control horn will have lower forces on the system then if both are 1'ish inches
